Derek McInnes, John McGlynn, and Gary Naysmith nominated for SPFL manager of the year!
The article discusses top NFL Draft picks expected to significantly impact 2026 Fantasy Football. It emphasizes the importance of selecting players who will have immediate relevance in their rookie season.
If youâre drafting rookies for âsomeday,â thatâs adorable. And if thatâs you, let me simplify it for you: send me your Fantasy Football league entry fees and letâs call it a day. What Iâm talking about today could change the game for you. Instantly. What youâre looking for on draft day is Week 1 relevance â players who walk into camp with a real path to touches, targets, or snaps that matter. And yes, the trench picks count too, because your fantasy stars donât score when the QB is horizontal and your RBs are getting stuffed three yards deep.

QB Fernando Mendoza â Raiders (Superflex). No. 1 overall quarterbacks get the keys quickly, and the Raiders didnât draft him to sit. In Superflex, that alone makes him relevant â even if rookie volatility is a real thing.
TE Kenyon Sadiq â Jets. Tight ends usually take time â but the Jets spent Round 1 capital for a reason, and theyâre going to feed him manufactured touches early to justify it. Heâs a classic early-season stream that could turn into a real starter if the red-zone role sticks.
RB Jeremiyah Love â Cardinals. Top-5 capital means Arizona intends volume â the only question is how fast he becomes the engine instead of a committee piece. Heâs the cleanest redraft rookie RB bet in this class.
WR Carnell Tate â Titans. A top-five wideout pick screams immediate targets, and Tennessee doesnât have the luxury of slow-playing it. If heâs even competent early, the target share will follow.
WR Jordyn Tyson â Saints. New Orleans drafted him to add explosion, not to stash him â he should be on the field early. Heâs a real redraft upside WR3 type right away.
WR Makai Lemon â Eagles. Philly doesnât trade up in Round 1 for a guy they plan to watch from the sideline. Even if the room is crowded early, the talent forces usage. And if the roster shifts later (and it will), the ceiling jumps.
WR KC Concepcion â Browns. This is the rookie receiver profile that can become relevant real damn fast if the QB situation stabilizes â playmaker traits, quick separation, and a team that invested in protection, too. The floor is weekly flex. The ceiling⊠potential league-winning value.
OG Olaivavega Ioane â Ravens. Interior OL upgrades matter. And this is where your draft gets sneaky. Cleaner pockets and better run lanes create more touchdowns, not prettier press conferences. If Baltimoreâs run game is more efficient, Lamar and Derrick share the benefit.
OT Kadyn Proctor â Dolphins. Miami has to protect whatâs left of its offense, and Proctor gives them a chance to function without living in third-and-long misery. Better protection makes every skill player less fragile (ahem, Mr. Achane).
OL Spencer Fano â Browns. This is the kind of pick that quietly raises the floor of an entire offense â fewer negative plays, more sustained drives. Thatâs how Quinshon Judkins and the aforementioned KC Concepcion become stars.
G Keylan Rutledge â Texans. Offensive line help is a fantasy multiplier â book it. If Houston stabilizes the interior, Nico goes nuclear, and David Montgomery starts being mandatory.
If you want rookies who matter immediately, chase draft capital and role clarity, but donât forget to sprinkle in offenses with upgrades on the O-line. Everybody can draft the shiny name and pat themselves on the back. The real edge is drafting the players who get fed in September and the guys supported by the trench picks that help turn an offense into a weekly points machine.
