TOPEKA (KSNT) – A former prep star is on her way to Lubbock.
Topeka native Kiki Smith announced she is transferring to Texas Tech to play basketball for her senior year.
She made the announcement on social media on Friday night saying “let’s rock out, raider nation.”
Smith spent the 2025-2026 season at Purdue where she averaged 10.7 points and 2.3 rebounds a game.
She began her collegiate career at Hutchinson Community College (JUCU) where she led her team to a 37-0 National Championship while being named the NJCAA DI Women’s Basketball Player of the Year.
Smith then played a year at Arkansas before transferring to Purdue.
At Topeka High School, Smith was a 4x 6A All-State selection three being first team honors.
