âWe took the lead but didnât manage the result in the best way,â Darmian admitted. âWe conceded the first goal, then, riding the momentum, they managed to equalise.
âBut it changes relatively little for us; we already knew before the match that we needed four points. We went out onto the pitch as we always do, to try to win.
âWe didnât manage it, but now weâll recover and prepare for next Sundayâs game against Parma.â
Asked whether fatigue had anything to do with Interâs late collapse, Darmian replied: âI donât think so.
âWeâre used to playing every three days; weâve always done that in recent weeks.
âThat wasnât the problem. We were aware of the difficulties Torino could create. Itâs a shame we didnât win, especially after going two goals ahead.
âBut weâll prepare as well as possible for the next one and try to reach our objective as soon as possible.â
