Former Man U scout Mick Brown has been speaking to Football Insider, and he clearly feels a lot of sympathy for Liam Rosenior.
He thinks the Chelsea dressing room is pretty much pushing the manager out â which certainly lines up with what we see on the pitch.
âIâve spoken to people about the way things work there a few times, and they have some very good players, but I wouldnât trust them as far as I could throw them,â Brown said.
âItâs starting to get a bit toxic now with players speaking out against the club and results arenât going their way, so then unhappiness starts to build.
âWhen the pressure comes on, as we saw against Man City, they can switch off and when players start doing that, it puts the manager in trouble.
âThat will be the key to Roseniorâs future there, whether he can get these players on his side, but it feels a bit like heâs fighting a losing battle and itâs not easy to put things right.â
Kaveh Solhekol fears that Liam Rosenior has lost the dressing room and the fans already.
Earlier in the day, Solhekol had sounded far more positive about Roseniorâs chances, claiming that the club were âplanning on keepingâ the manager in place, barring things becoming untenable.
