Multiple votes are allowed until the poll closes at noon on May 14. The winner of the previous weekās fan vote was Daniel soccer player Marcos Moore.
This weekās candidates:
Jack Bailey, Byrnes: Bailey hit two home runs in a 13-3 win against Ridge View in the baseball playoffs. He was 3-for-4 with three runs scored and four RBIs.
Carson Bolemon, Southside Christian: Bolemon struck out 10 batters and allowed two hits in five innings of a 14-0 win against Pendleton.
Chris Colin, Spartanburg: Colin pitched a two-hit shutout with eight strikeouts and two walks in a 2-0 win against Boiling Springs.
Ethan Cooker, Mauldin: Cooker pitched a two-hit shutout with five strikeouts and no walks in a 7-0 win against Rock Hill.
Torrean Davis, Spartanburg: Davis at the Class 5A Division 1 Upper State track and field meet won long jump and triple jump championships and finished third in the 200-meter dash to qualify for the state meet in that event as well.
Jake Hart, Wren: Hart pitched a three-hit shutout with four strikeouts and three walks in a 9-0 win against Westside.
Brock Keller, Greer: Keller was 3-for-3 with a home run and five RBIs in a 10-0 win against Emerald.
Jaiden Kocak, Dorman: Kocak scored a game-winning goal in overtime to give Dorman its first lacrosse state championship as the Cavaliers beat Wando, 9-8, for the 5A Division 1 title.
Ryder Martin, Eastside: Martin had a goal and an assist in a 2-1 win against Nation Ford in the 5A Division 2 soccer playoffs.
Anson Reynolds, Eastside: Reynolds drove in seven runs on a homer and a double in a 14-7 win against Gaffney.
This week's candidates include Jack Bailey from Byrnes and Marcos Moore, the previous week's winner.
Voting closes at noon on May 14.
