Leanna Lenee made headlines last year during the 2025 NFL Draft when her now-husband was the No. 2 overall pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Lenee was criticized for her behavior during Draft Day last year, and now she is helping future WAGS (wives and girlfriends of sports stars) learn from her backlash.
Lenee, who married Hunter in 2025 and welcomed their first baby a few months later, is making sure the 2026 WAGS are ready for the NFL Draft. She posted the video of her explaining what WAGS should look out for how they are perceived on camera, prior to Day 1 of the 2026 NFL Draft, onto social media.
âDonât get in the camera because if you get in the camera too much, you are an attention whore and you want this to revolve around you,â Lenee said in a TikTok video on Tuesday, April 21.
âAlso, donât avoid the cameras and sit down and try to dodge the cameras because then you donât care about your boyfriend or fiancĂ© or husband, and supposedly other people are going to have to tell you to sit up â when really youâre just trying to hide from cameras.â
Lenee is seemingly referring to when Hunter's former Colorado head coach, Deion Sanders, was appearing to motion to her to stand up and cheer for Hunter as he was awarded the Heisman Trophy.
âNo. 2, donât stand up too fast because then youâre trying to make it about you. But also donât stand up too slow because then youâre bored or donât want to be there,â Lenee continued.
She then went in to jokingly add how you should react to not having the spotlight on you.
âDonât cry, because if you cry then youâre dramatic. But also if you donât cry, then you donât care about him and youâre just there for money," she said.
She then moved on to how women should dress for the big night.
Leanna Lenee advised future WAGS to manage their camera presence, suggesting they avoid being overly attention-seeking while also not completely avoiding the cameras.

âDonât wear heels because when your feet start to hurt and your man carries you then youâre trying to make it about you. But also if you donât wear heels, then youâre classless."
Lenee started again with the point of not appearing to be in it for the money.
âDonât smile too much because if you do, then theyâre gonna think that youâre just there for money. But also donât forget to smile because if youâre not smiling then youâre miserable and you actually hate him and youâre just with him for money."
Lastly, she got on what is the appropriate way to "cheer" for your man.
âCheer for your man because thatâs important and if you donât, then youâll get hated. But also donât cheer too much because if you do youâre doing too much and youâll be hated."
She then concluded her tips with, âAnd thatâs all, so actually, donât go.â
Several fans got the gist of Lenee's jokes in the video and reacted in the comment section.
"Honestly, donât even breathe," one fan joked.
One fan applauded Lenee's vulnerability in joking about the night a year later, "Youâre so strong for being able to joke about this when it probably was one of the hardest times for you in life  people really forced the hate, youâre really a sweet person," the fan commented.
Travis even responded to his wife's TikTok video with approval.
"U got this one," he added with a laughing emoji.
