Sophomore Marlena Tresnjo took an astonishing third place finish in the womenâs high jump, with her mark of 1.83 meters. Tresnjoâs result was Mizzouâs No.5 program record in this event. Her previous record was 1.80 meters at the Show-Me Showdown during the indoor season earlier this year.
âItâs been so fun to see how theyâve done, especially on the traveling side,â distance coach Kyle Levermore said. â Iâm just so amazed at how many good athletes we have, besides just running, we have so many good athletes.â
**Womenâs Hammer Throw**
Petra Gombas placed third overall in the womenâs hammer throw, with her stellar mark of 59.15 meters. This result was Mizzouâs No.8 program record in this event. Star athlete Reagan Kimrey took eighth with her throw of 55.19 meters.
**Womenâs Javelin Throw**
Adrienne Russell claimed a third place finish in the womenâs javelin, with a mark of 45.17 meters. Marysa Fieg finished right behind her in fourth, with her result of 44.77 meters. In ninth, Nora Hark finished with a throw of 42.52 meters. Rounding it out for the Tigers was Lexi Craig in 17th.
