Kaufman-Renn strung together a series of impressive performances since the end of the Boilermakers' season. That started at the Portsmouth Invitational, a showcase of 64 draft-eligible players where he was named to the all-tournament team.
The 6-foot-9, 240-pound center averaged 14.2 points and 8.3 rebounds while shooting 57.8% from the field as a fifth-year senior. The previous season, he averaged 20.1 points and 6.5 rebounds while shooting 59.5% from the field.
The NBA Combine's 5-on-5 scrimmages are held Wednesday and Thursday. Players also participate in athletic testing, skill and agility drills, measurements, team interviews and other activities.
