YORK, Maine - Sophomore Emery Dodge had five goals and four assists as the York High School girls lacrosse team beat Biddeford, 11-3 on Thursday in a Class B contest.
York is now 1-1 on the season.

Sophomore Ella Neiverth added four goals and two assists for the Wildcats, and Evie Martin had two goals. York goalie Piper Schambach had three saves.

SOUTH BERWICK, Maine - Senior Maddy Poitras had nine goals and one assist for Marshwood in its Class A season-opener.
Ella Yakota, Lilyan Upton and Marlo Elwell all had two goals for the Hawks, while Tiegan Boisvert, Estella Fogg, Brooklyn Smith and Jordan Galuppo all had one. Teammates Hope Walker and Boisvert both had one assist. Marshwood goalie Leigh Twohig had five saves.
Willow Holland, Ashley Merchant and Reagan Dodge all had two goals for Noble (0-2).

BRIDGTON, Maine - Ebbin Perkins had five goals and two assists for Berwick (5-3) in this loss. Cole Cournoyer added three goals and one assist for the Bulldogs, while Reed Kenney had three goals and Liam Quinn one.
Emery Dodge scored five goals in the game against Biddeford.
The final score was York 11, Biddeford 3.
York High School's current record is 1-1 for the season.

Emma Surina (two RBIs), Maggie Ellis, Hannah Chesley, Mariza Zygouri, Anika Benson, Chloe Winkler (first varsity hit) and Julianna Cote all had a hit, and Annaleigha Dotson had two RBIs.
Emma Surina pitched three shutout innings, allowing two hits and striking out four, and Anika Benson pitched the final three innings, allowing one run on two hits and four strikeouts.

In doubles, Tracz and Amitay Hey Tene won 8-3 at No. 1, Hillel Hay Tene and Ganev won 9-8 at No. 2, and Julian Brousseau and Gerardo Navarro-Manchego won 8-1 at No. 3.

EXETER - The Exeter girls won 11 events, scored 137 points and captured a four-team meet, beating Dover (53), Windham (46), and Newmarket (5).
Exeter's Lexie Rogers won both the triple jump (32 feet, 04.5 inches) and the 200 (27.24 seconds)
Other winners for Exeter included Sydney MacVicar (100 hurdles, 17.09), Emma Roeder (100, 13.49), Izzie Bremer (400, 1:00.10), Molly Baut (pole vault, 7-6), Martelle McBride (long jump, 16-06), Lucille Beem (shot put, 32-04.25) and Ashleigh MacEachern (800, 2:31.90).
Exeter won both the 4x100 and 4x400 relays. In the 4x100, Finley Mason, Roeder, Isabelle Ernst and Rogers finished in a time of 52.28; while the 4x400 team, comprised of Abby Riccio, Saylor Gregory, Emmie Kayes, Mia Leavis, finished in 4:37.71.
In the boys competition, Exeter won eight events and finished with 102 points, beating Windham (102), Dover (49), and Newmarket (16).
Exeter's Colby Orleans won both the triple jump (39-06.25) and pole vault (12-0).
Other winners for Exeter included Gavyn Daley (100, 11.8), Wally Dangora (400, 54.42), Logen Poteet (800, 2:08.47), Colton Ray (200, 24.51), and Avery Bourgeault (long jump, 18-05.5).
Exeter's 4x400 relay team, consisting of Lucas Scott, Agee Griffith, Daley and Ray, won in a time of 46.19.
Dover's winners included Melo Berdecia (1,600, 4:40.69), and Zach LeFebvre (3,200, 10:49.56).
