While some higher-ups are in favour of a move for the Barcelona ace, there are others who strongly believe that the player’s age and transaction costs exceed the club’s current criteria.
As for Juventus, who have reportedly offered a deal worth €6 million per year to Lewandowski, there is less and less enthusiasm about the transfer, with concerns about the striker’s age and the costs of the operation.
Romano also states that Inter Milan have no interest whatsoever in signing Lewandowski, as the Serie A champions are happy with their settled attacking unit.
So, with Milan and Juventus hesitating, Lewandowski might miss out on the opportunity to secure a transfer to Italy in the summer.
MLS remains a strong option, while clubs in Saudi Arabia have also presented Lewandowski with offers. The idea of a continued stay at Barcelona is not ruled out either.
