Tyler Reddick did it again. On Sunday afternoon, Reddick and the No. 45 team for 23XI Racing won the AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway. It marks the 23XI Racing driver's fifth win in the first nine races of the 2026 NASCAR season. Reddick passed Kyle Larson in the final corners.
Following the event, Reddick spoke about his shocking NASCAR win at Kansas. If not for the caution, Hamlin was very likely beating Reddick for the victory.
"Just really blessed with the late caution," Reddick said. "Was that nuts or what? I couldnât believe it. I mean, first off, I feel like I have to say obviously just for how I feel. I never like being on the inside of it. Really hate that for Christopher Bell. Good, hard racing. The No. 11 came up, I mean, I took off tight. Not thrilled I got Christopher there. I hate that for him because he was having a good, solid day. Man, these late race restarts get crazy. I obviously had a run on the No. 5. I was shocked I was able to get to his inside there. An incredible SupplyHouse Toyota Camry all day long. Yeah, it was really painful to get that late caution."
"Yeah, a lot. We were really solid here last fall. The car was a lot like that here again this weekend. We didnât lead a lot of laps. I let [Denny Hamlin] get away there and save one. We were behind running him in most of the time. Yeah, to be able to make the right call, great call by Billy to put two tires on. We didnât have the cleanest restart. I tried to cover the No. 20. He got outside. We were three-wide and just all ran out of room...Got to deliver for bossman. If [Michael Jordan]'s going to hang out for us, we got to get him dubs."
Reddick's start to the 2026 NASCAR season has been amazing. There will be plenty of debate on the final caution with two laps to go, but Cody Ware spun and came back up the race track. The driver of the No. 45 car's fifth win required some luck, but he was in the perfect spot to execute on the final lap.
