In addition to setting a new UCLA record, Grant broke her own Big Ten single-season home run record which was previously 26 home runs in 2025. Senior infielder Jordan Woolery is also on track to pass Nuvemanâs former record. As of Friday, Woolery has hit 30 home runs this season. Last week, Grant and Woolery became the first teammates in NCAA Division I softball history to each hit 30 or more home runs in the same season. Both Grant and Woolery along with senior pitcher Taylor Tinsley will be joining the Athletes Unlimited Softball League after this season. The veteran trio each received one of 17 AUSL Golden Tickets on April 18, which set a for most players to receive an AUSL Golden Ticket from the same school in the same year. UCLA softball currently holds a 41-5 record and ranks No. 7 in the nation.
