Haynes King didn't want to stop working.

The work day was complete Friday, but the Carolina Panthers' undrafted free agent quarterback felt the urge to continue reviewing the NFL playbook.

There were plays he experienced during Friday's rookie minicamp-opening practice that he could have executed better. Along with former Memphis QB Brendon Lewis, King organized a group of prospects to spend some of their off time rehearsing plays.

His recruiting tactics proved effective as the first-year players fielded a full offensive line, a tight end and three wide receivers, including third-round draft pick Chris Brazzell II.

"It was kind like a knock on the door, trying to find (people)," King said following Saturday's practice, which capped the two-day camp at the practice fields near Bank of America Stadium.
