Josh Hokit has emerged as a significant betting favorite for his upcoming fight against Derrick Lewis at the UFC White House event on June 14, following his victory over Curtis Blaydes at UFC 327. Hokit, now 9-0, has gained attention for his impressive performances and trash talk leading up to the fight.

UFC heavyweight phenom Josh Hokit put his money where his mouth is, which is a considerable feat when you consider how much crap he was talking ahead of UFC 327 last week in Miami. “The Incredible Hok” defeated Top 5 contender Curtis Blaydes last Sat. night (April 11) in Hokit’s third fight under the UFC banner.
As a reward for his “Sunshine State” performance, the 28 year-old Hokit (9-0) has earned a spot on the UFC White House fight card on June 14 opposite longtime heavyweight hurter Derrick Lewis. Both combatants had a little help from U.S. President Donald Trump, who was cageside for UFC 327 at Kaseya Center.
Hokit opened as a huge betting favorite over Lewis, clocking in at -400 for the “Freedom 250” event, according to BetOnline.ag. The 41 year-old Lewis (29-13, 1 NC), who is coming off a technical knockout loss to Waldo Cortes-Acosta at UFC 324 back in January, opened as the +300 underdog.
Sorry, nothing to investigate this time.
Bettors quickly jumped on the opening odds and the moneyline currently sits at -290/+250 in favor of Hokit. Expect those numbers to fluctuate (in both directions) as we get closer to fight night. For more UFC White House odds and “Freedom 250” betting lines see the remaining six fights here.
