The Tar Heels will kick off their second season of the Bill Belichick era against the Horned Frogs on Saturday, Aug. 29 (Noon ET, ESPN), as part of the Aer Lingus College Football Classic from Aviva Stadium in Dublin. Kickoff is 5 p.m. local time.
It’ll be UNC’s first international game in program history. The Tar Heels, who lost 48-14 to TCU last season in Belichick’s debut at Kenan Stadium, will be the fourth ACC team to compete in the event, joining Boston College, Georgia Tech and Florida State.
