Holger Rune has pushed back his return to the ATP Tour, deciding to pull out of both Roland Garros and Hamburg.
Runeās plans to play in Hamburg had already raised eyebrows, given he only ruptured his Achilles tendon in October.
The Daneās last appearance came in Stockholm, where the injury occurred, and heās been focused on recovery ever since.
He had planned to start his comeback at the ATP 500 event in Hamburg, followed by Roland Garros, but has since decided against both.

The Dane has been forced to withdraw from Roland Garros and Hamburg due to a delay in his recovery from a ruptured Achilles tendon suffered at last yearās Stockholm Open.
He hasnāt played since then, and while he originally hoped for a return at the start of May, heāll have to wait until June when the grass-court season gets underway.
Pushing back his return is likely the smart move for Rune. Rushing into Roland Garros or Hamburg couldāve caused more harm than good.
