Reports in recent weeks from ESPN's Jeremy Fowler indicated that Richardson might be a likely candidate for a trade to the Packers, but nothing has materialized on that front, and the Packers added veteran quarterback Tyrod Taylor on Monday.

Richardson was selected with the fourth overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft and made four starts as a rookie before missing the rest of the season due to injury.
