USC's Jazzy Davidson is just getting started. The USC women's basketball star spoke on a panel for the 2026 Business of Women's Sports for Invisilign, where she told attendees how she manages the pressure of her collegiate sport with confidence.
For Davidson, it all comes down to creating a "consistent routine." A part of her routine, she noted, is getting a good night's rest and eating well so that she can give her all on the court.
"I think for me, just knowing the work I put in and having a consistent routine," she says. "If I'm having any doubts about anything going into a high-stress situation, relying on the work that I put in and just kind of knowing that I've done what I needed to do to perform at a high level."
A part of building her confidence is through her partnership with Invisalign. Davidson noted that aligning with the orthodontic company was important to her because "authenticity is a huge thing" for her.
"I think the things that we value align really well, and I'm just super excited to get to partner with them."
Having that routine with the help of Invisalign and knowing what she needs to accomplish for the day sets her mind at ease. In those high-pressure situations, such as performing at the biggest collegiate stage, the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament, for example, to which she made her debut last month.
"I don't know if I did anything in specific. I think growing up watching March Madness, you kind of dream of playing in those games and finally getting on that stage," the 2026 USBWA National Freshman of the Year explained.
Davidson said while she didn't change up her routine to prepare for the national championship, she was able to lean on her teammates for support on or off the court.
"I kind of relied on my teammates who had been there a few times before to just lean on," she added. "If I was having any nerves, they really helped calm me down."
