More than a dozen U.S. men's national team World Cup hopefuls will be featured in an HBO documentary series produced in association with U.S. Soccer that premieres Tuesday, May 12 on HBO Max.
The first episode of the series, with episodes being released each Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET leading up to the World Cup, focuses on the "Golden Generation" of Christian Pulisic, Tyler Adams and other rising stars leading up to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The crew was with the 15 players at various points throughout the four year cycle leading into the 2026 World Cup.
In addition to Pulisic, Adams and Weston McKennie, other players highlighted include Tim Weah, Folarin Balogun, Antonee Robinson, Chris Richards, Tim Ream, Sergino Dest, Matt Turner, Matt Freese, Gio Reyna, Malik Tillman Brenden Aaronson and Diego Luna.

All are expected to be part of manager Mauricio Pochettino's final roster heading into the World Cup - though Aaronson and Luna are among a group of attackers who may be competing for the final places in the squad.
The final roster will be named May 25 with the U.S. playing a pair of preparation matches before a June 12 World Cup opener against Paraguay.
