On the same afternoon that Washington offered three-star Camden High School edge Andre Robinson's teammate, the rising New Jersey defender became the latest class of 2028 football recruit to receive an offer from the Huskies.
Robinson, a 6-foot-6, 225-pound sophomore, has been on a tear this spring, reaching over a dozen offers, including Big Ten Conference programs Michigan, Ohio State, and Rutgers, with UW becoming the 14th total offer for the No. 14-ranked prospect from New Jersey, based on 247Sports' rankings.
The rising New Jersey prospect logged 41 total tackles (28 solo), 7.5 tackles for loss, 7 passes defended, 4 sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery over 13 games for Camden. On offense at tight end, the three-star recorded 4 receptions for 19 yards.
UW has a heavy need to add a mixture of interior and edge defensive line reinforcements, with both current junior edge defenders, Hayden Moore and Logan George, out of eligibility, and current sophomore Devin Hyde set to have one year left by the time Robinson and the rest of the potential 2028 class arrive on campus.

On film, Robinson's massive 6-foot-6 frame jumps out immediately as a standup outside linebacker. Although there isn't double-digit sack production, the New Jersey standout makes an impact at all costs, whether it's putting a hand up at the line of scrimmage to force a pass breakup or in some manner move the pocket opposing quarterbacks establish to cause havoc.
Based on 247Sports' recruiting database, UW has offered over a dozen recruits along the defensive line, five of whom are edge rushers, including Robinson, which goes to show how highly the staff covets the Garden State rising star to make an early offer at this point in the overall class of 2028 recruitment.
The Huskies don't yet hold a single verbal commitment from any player in next year's cycle. With the offer extended to Robinson, the next step will be for the staff to get the three-star edge on campus for an unofficial visit at some point this year.
