Barrett shot 20.5% from beyond the arc in 2025-26 with a 46% overall field-goal percentage and a 77.6% free-throw percentage. He had 99 assists and 69 turnovers last season.
Barrett is the second transfer to join Vanderbilt from another SEC school after the Commodores also added Sebastian Williams-Adams from Auburn. Vanderbilt also has two other Power Four transfers in Bangot Dak from Colorado and Berke Buyuktuncel from Nebraska, as well as guard Ace Glass from Washington State.
