NEW YORK – Former UFC champion Francis Ngannou and 2018 PFL champ Philipe Lins had another staredown at Wednesday's press conference for their heavyweight clash at Rousey vs. Carano on Netflix.
Ngannou (18-3) recently departed the PFL and moved on to new business with Most Valuable Promotion's venture into MMA with a matchup against Lins (18-5), a six-fight UFC veteran. The pairing is set to serve as the co-main event of the May 16 card at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif.
Ngannou and Lins had a respectful first staredown during the on-sale press conference in April, and they kept the same cordial approach when they stood in front of each other again roughly one month out from fight night.
