Welcome to the girst installment of Seacoast high school Athletes of the Week for the 2026 spring sports season, presented by York County Community College.
This week, and in weeks to come, you can vote for a girls athlete and a boys athlete of the week.

This week's polls are for outstanding athletic accomplishments from April 13-18.
Voting can be completed through the two ballots listed below. Voting closes midnight Thursday, April 23.
Winners will be announced in a story published Friday, April 24 at seacoastonline.com/sports and fosters.com/sports.

Ethan Battles
Battles pitched a complete game, going seven innings, allowing four hits, one run and struck out 16 batters in a 5-2 season-opening win over Windham on Monday, April 13.
Dubois collected five hits, drove in seven runs and scored four runs for Somersworth in a 21-11 Division III win over Newfound on Wednesday, April 15. Dubois also had two hits in the Hilltoppers' 5-2 Division III win over Winnisquam on Monday, April 13.
Estes, a freshman, scored seven goals to lead the Saints to a 20-2 win over Alvirne in the season opener on Monday, April 13.
Cooper Ketcham
Ketcham scored four goals and had seven assists in the Green Wave's 17-6 Division I win over Nashua North on Friday, April 20. Ketcham also had two goals with six assists in Dover's 23-4 win over Spaulding on Tuesday, April 14.
Stacy, a freshman, recorded hit first varsity hit which turned out to be a two-run single in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift the Clippers to their first win of the season, a 10-9 Division I win over Londonderry on Friday, April 17.
Sam Bishop
Bishop didn't allow a hit and struck out six over six innings as Oyster River opened with a Division II win over Souhegan on Monday, April 13.
Bishop went seven innings, allowed four hits, zero runs and struck out five in a 3-0 win over Sanborn on Tuesday, April 14; On Friday, April 17, Bishop went four innings, allowed one hit and struck out four batters in the Bobcats' 11-1 win over Lebanon.
Riley Benevides
Benevides scored five goals in the Blue Hawks; 17-3 Division I season-opening win on Windham on Monday, April 13; Benevides scored five goals and had one assist in the Blue Hawks' 17-0 Division I win over Concord on Friday, April 17. Benevides also scored two goals in Exeter's 11-4 Division I loss to Souhegan on Tuesday, April 14.
Elle Emery
Emery scored four goals and had three assists in the Warriors' 20-7 win over Goffstown on Monday, April 13, and scored the game-winning goal in a 7-6 win over Bishop Guertin on Wednesday, April 15.
Bizzie Pelletier
Pelletier had two hits, four RBIs, four runs and stole three bases for the Saints in a 21-6 Division III win over Monadnock on Thursday, April 16, and had three hits, with a double and home run, with three RBIs and scored four runs in STA's 13-1 win over Somersworth on Friday, April 17.
Avery Porter
Porter went 3-0 at No. 1 singles matches this week, and also was 3-0 in doubles matches this week in wins over Coe-Brown on Tuesday, April 14, Kennett on Wednesday, April 15 and Hollis-Brookline on Friday, April 17.
