Voting for the Leaf-Chronicle's girls athlete of the week is open from now until Thursday, April 16 at 2 p.m.
Previous winners for the spring sports season include Stewart County's Ema Borden, Stewart County's Cara Bucciarelli, Stewart County's Addison Arnold, Stewart County's Neely Cook and Houston County's Jakelyn Boone.
Candidates are eligible if they have not been nominated in the previous two weeks.

**Janya Brown, Fort Campbell track and field:**Placed first in the triple jump at the Muhlenberg County invitational with a mark of 30 feet, six inches. Was fifth in the long jump at 13'10".
Cara Bucciarelli, Stewart County softball: Batted .667 for the week with eight hits, two doubles, two home runs, six RBIs, seven runs and two stolen bases. Went 5-for-5 with two doubles, two stolen bases, three RBIs and five runs in a 17-1 win at West Creek.
KayLee Carnall, Kirkwood softball: Batted .600 with 12 hits, seven RBIs, nine runs, four stolen bases and three extra-base hits on the week. Had a pair of three-hit games, including going 3-for-4 with a home run, four RBIs and two runs in a 3-1 win over White House Heritage.
Kissleine Casarez, Northwest track and field: Won the 3,200 meters at the Cookeville Invitational with a time of 12:12.23.
**Katelyn Fox, Clarksville softball:**Went 2-for-2 with a double and six RBIs in a 15-0 win at Northeast.
Mattie Hathcock, Montgomery Central softball: Went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a stolen base in a 7-6 win over Creek Wood. Went 2-for-3 in a 5-0 loss at Clarksville.
Addie Horn, Houston County softball: Batted .600 for the week with nine hits, four doubles, one home run, four RBIs and five runs. Went 4-for-5 with a homer and two runs in a 15-4 win over McKenzie.
Jada James, Clarksville Christian softball: Hit .438 on the week with seven hits, one home run, five RBIs, four runs, one double and one stolen base. Hit an inside-the-park three-run home run in a 15-0 win over Legacy HRC.
Gracie Scudder, Northwest softball: Pitched a complete game with five hits and one earned run allowed over seven innings, striking out two, in a 3-2 win over Clarksville Christian.
**Courtney Weyand, Kirkwood track and field:**Won the high jump at the Doug Hall Relays with a distance of 16 feet, 8.75 inches.
