Hudson's Jack Finocchario was voted the Daily News Boys Athlete of the Week for April 20-26. He threw six innings to earn the win win a 9-2 victory over Marlborough, allowing just three hits with four strikeouts. Finocchario also had two hits, two RBIs and two runs for the Hawks.
The junior received 34.53 percent of the nearly 1,000 votes. He beat out Ashland's Jared Grunbaum (21.72 percent) and Framingham's James Winders (16.5).
Charlie Ballarino, Franklin lacrosse: Had five goals and two assists in a 12-3 win over Stoughton.
Charlie Barbosa, Dover-Sherborn track & field: Won the high jump, clearing 5-foot-10, and led the Raiders to the Division 5 MSTCA State Relays championship.
Finn Bell, Wayland volleyball:Hammered down 23 kills with two blocks in a 3-1 win against Acton-Boxborough. Added 13 kills and four aces against Waltham/Weston.
Joe Bent, Assabet Valley boys lacrosse: Poured in four goals in a 15-3 win over Worcester.
