Norwich Tech’s Cole Arnio has been voted The Bulletin athlete of the week for April 27-May 2.
The Warriors senior went 5-for-5 with four doubles and six RBIs in an 18-6 baseball victory over Goodwin Tech.
Last week saw plenty of standout performances in baseball, softball, girls outdoor track and field, girls golf, and girls lacrosse across Eastern Connecticut. While there's no shortage of talent, we went and found the best of the best.

Norwich Tech senior Cole Arnio has been voted The Bulletin athlete of the week for April 27-May 2.
The Wildcats junior hit two home runs, including a grand slam, and had six RBIs, in a 14-1 softball win over Fitch.
Bourdon struck out 11 while scattering six hits and also added two hits at the plate in NFA’s 8-5 win over Waterford. She was also the winning pitcher in NFA’s 10-5 victory over East Lyme, striking out 12 over six innings.
She also had two hits in NFA’s 10-4 non-league win over Cranston West.
The Wildcat junior tossed a no-hitter with nine strikeouts in a 14-1 softball win over Fitch.
In an 8-5 win over Waterford, Olivia had a hit and two RBIs. She also powered the Wildcats offense with a double and a two-run homer in a 10-5 win over East Lyme.
In NFA’s 10-4 non-league win against Cranston West, Bourdon struck out 10 and also belted a pair of two-run homers. She finished with three hits and five RBIs.
The Panthers junior collected her 200th career strikeout in a 3-2 softball win against St. Bernard. Britland struck out three, walked none, and allowed just five hits in a complete game performance.
The Warriors sophomore went 5-for-5 with a triple and was also the winning pitcher with seven strikeouts in a 24-8 victory over Grasso Tech.
The Panthers junior set a meet record at the Hartford Invitational in the discus throw. Dailey set a new girls outdoor track and field mark with a toss of 134-01 feet.
She also won both the shot put (34-7) and discus (117-4) in Plainfield’s 74-66 win against Windham.

The Trailblazers junior struck out 15 and allowed just four hits in a complete game performance in Killingly’s 9-0 baseball win over Bacon Academy at Dodd Stadium. DeBella also had two hits and two RBIs as the Trailblazers won their fifth straight game.
The Wildcats senior shot an even par 36 to win medalist honors at the annual Wildcat Invitational at Norwich Golf Course. NFA (209) finished third in the seven team field.
Goderre also earned medalist honors with a 37 in girls golf match against Bacon Academy.
The Panthers junior won the 200 (28:08), 100 hurdles (personal best 17.10), 300 hurdles (55.08), and long jump (personal best 14-5.5) in Plainfield’s 74-66 win against Windham.
The Wolverines sophomore hit a two-run double in the bottom of the seventh to lift Griswold to a dramatic 4-3 walk-off baseball victory against Ellis Tech.
The Wildcats sophomore won the girls outdoor track and field 800 meter run at the Hartford Invitational. Pescatello placed first with a personal best time of 2 minutes and 17.10 seconds.

The Trailblazers senior reached the 100 career point milestone in Killingly’s 9-7 girls lacrosse loss against Woodstock Academy. Ritchotte scored four goals with an assist. She also had three caused turnovers and four draw controls.
Ritchotte scored five goals, had four caused turnovers and a draw control in a 9-7 loss against New London.
The Panthers junior went 4-for-5, including a two-run single that broke a tie in the top of the seventh, in a 13-10 baseball win against Wheeler. Tavernier also has an RBI triple and allowed just two hits while striking out five over 3.2 relief innings to earn the pitching win.
