A total of 12 players from seven clubs are up for the award, which was won by Hibernian's Jack Iredale last time out.
This year, Aberdeen's Marko Lazetic, Celtic's Reo Hatate, Callum McGregor, Sebastian Tounekti and Hyun-Jun Yang, Dundee's Ethan Hamilton, Dundee United's Zac Sapsford, Hearts' Alexandros Kyziridis, Falkirk's Kyrell Wilson, Kilmarnock's Ben Brannan, plus Jayden Meghoma and Youssef Chermiti of Rangers are in the running.
