Prince Yadav has been one of the most consistent performers for the Lucknow Super Giants franchise in the IPL 2026 season. While LSG as a team have struggled and are currently at the bottom of the league table, Yadav has consistently picked wickets and has been their best bowler.
After grabbing the limelight with pace and accuracy in just his second IPL season, Yadav is now dreaming of representing the Indian national team like several other aspiring cricketers.
In a recent chat with LSG's media team, Yadav expressed his desire to share a dressing room with Indian cricket stalwarts, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma at the 2027 ODI World Cup and also lift the trophy with the two legends in South Africa next year.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have already etched their names in the history books of Indian and world cricket. They are already among the all-time greats of Indian cricket, especially in the white-ball format and have several records in ODIs and T20Is under their belt.
Together, they have played several memorable knocks for the Men in Blue and have achieved immense success and have also won several trophies in the shorter formats, which include two Champions Trophies and the T20 World Cup, however, the ODI World Cup remains elusive, at least for Rohit Sharma.
While Kohli was part of India's 2011 ODI World Cup-winning side, he was yet to make a name for himself as a major star. After achieving stardom, he, alongside Sharma, came very close to winning the title in 2023, which was hosted by India. Unfortunately, the Men in Blue missed out by a whisker as they lost to Australia.
Both cricketers have now reached the twilight of their respective careers and in all probability, the 2027 ODI World Cup will be their last dance as they have already retired from T20Is and Test matches. They would hope to end their illustrious international on a fairytale note.
