The Golden State Warriors are reportedly looking to shop their six-time All-Star forward, Jimmy Butler.
Sam Amico of Hoops Wire shared in his latest column.
" Sources tell Hoops Wire the Warriors could gauge Butler’s trade market this offseason as they evaluate the roster’s direction," Amico wrote.
While the future of head coach Steve Kerr and fellow All-stars Stephen Curry and Draymond Green appear to be set with the team, that is not the case with Butler.
The 36-year-old tore his ACL in January and is expected to miss nine to 12 months. Butler is under contract through the 2026-27 season after the extension that he signed after arriving in the Bay Area from Miami.
The Warriors are evaluating their roster's direction and believe exploring Butler's trade market could be beneficial.
Jimmy Butler is currently a six-time All-Star forward, and the Warriors are looking into potential trade options for him.
The Warriors are expected to gauge Butler's trade market during the upcoming offseason.

Bulter's future with the team is unclear, and it's unclear who could be in line for the former first-round pick. Considering his age, injury and contract, it will be a tough sell for the Warriors.

One thing is clear: the Warriors need to get younger. Their three best players are all over the age of 35, and with how deep and young the rest of the Western Conference teams are, they are clearly behind that curve.
The Warriors were one of the oldest teams in the league, ranging between the ages of 27.5 and 29.8 years old. Packaging Butler in a potential deal could change that, but of course, it all depends on who or what the Warriors could get in return.
Butler has played in only 68 games with the Warriors since being traded to the team in February 2025. He will soon head into the 16th season of his career.
This past season, Golden State failed to make the playoffs after falling in the play-in tournament to the Phoenix Suns.
