Bournemouth has reached an agreement to appoint Marco Rose as their new head coach, succeeding Andoni Iraola.
Washington Huskies are pursuing former four-star guard Isaiah Elohim, who transferred from Florida Atlantic. Elohim, a 6-foot-5 player, averaged 12.4 points and 4.2 rebounds last season and is sought after by multiple high-major programs.
As the Washington Huskies continue to look to retool their backcourt, Danny Sprinkle and his coaching staff have been in contact with former four-star recruit Isaiah Elohim from Florida Atlantic.
According to League RDY's Sam Kayser, the Huskies are among plenty of high-major programs and a handful of Big Ten teams in pursuit of the 6-foot-5 guard, with Kansas State, LSU, Maryland, Miami, Minnesota, Oregon, Rutgers, and Seton Hall as Elohim looks to return to the Power 4 level after he began his career at USC.
During his one season with the Trojans, Elohim played sparingly and averaged 2.1 points per contest before opting to transfer down for additional playing time. That proved to be the right decision, as he wound up starting all 32 games for the Owls, averaging 12.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, and an assist per game.
While Elohim has struggled from the free throw line in his career, shooting just 65 percent from the charity stripe, he's proven to be a reliable three-point shooter, which is by far Sprinkle's biggest need in the portal. He connected on 36.8 percent of his looks last season as the Huskies look to upgrade the second-worst three-point shooting team in the Big Ten from the 2025-26 season.
The Huskies have a lot of retooling to do in their backcourt after seeing star sophomore Zoom Diallo and freshmen JJ Mandaquit and Courtland Muldrew depart in the portal. After Jasir Rencher missed the back half of the season with a heart issue, former USC transfer Wesley Yates is the only known quantity at guard.
Adding Elohim would give the Huskies another promising scoring threat either in the starting lineup or off the bench as Washington looks to take another step forward during its third season in the Big Ten.
