Journeyman QB Taylor Heinicke retires after 7 NFL seasons and some memorable moments with Washington
Journeyman QB Taylor Heinicke announces retirement after 7 seasons in the NFL.
Chien-Tauvao began his career at Brighton High School and proved to be a disruptive interior defender thanks to his combination of size, strength, and athleticism.
At the high school level, he's able to thrive as a pass rusher thanks to his superior size, an explosive first step, and a motor that never quits, which works out very well for him against high school interior offensive linemen that rarely have the size and strength to stay in front of him. He eats up plenty of space as a run defender with his wide frame and with some time in a college weight room, he could be a key piece for a Power 4 program in the middle of the defensive line.
The Huskies currently hold two commits in the 2027 class along the defensive line in four-star defensive tackle Jon Ioane and three-star defensive lineman Matamatagi Uiagalelei, but it's never too early to get a jump on the next recruiting class.
