Four-star wide receiver Tre Moore visited the Washington Huskies for an unofficial visit during spring practice. The 6-foot-3 prospect from Texas is ranked No. 20 among 2027 wide receivers and has upcoming official visits scheduled with Miami, Texas, and Texas A&M.
The Washington Huskies had an important visitor on campus on Thursday during spring practice, as four-star wide receiver Tre Moore made the trip to Seattle for an unofficial visit.
Sources told Huskies Wire that the 6-foot-3, 200-pound, four-star product of Pflugerville Weiss High School in Texas, who is ranked as the nation's No. 158 overall prospect and No. 20 wide receiver in the 2027 class by the 247Sports Composite, arrived on Wednesday and spent two days on campus in an unofficial capacity.
Presumably, the trip could be in place of Washington's Junior Day in March, which Moore was unable to attend. He was also on campus for an unofficial visit in late October for Washington's 42-25 win over Illinois, but this trip is also significant since it's coming off the heels of his official visit to LSU, which began on April 17.
Coach Lane Kiffin and the Tigers have reportedly been the other top suitors for Moore's services, and getting a chance to make another impression on him so quickly after a trip to Baton Rouge can be viewed as a good sign for where Jedd Fisch and wide receivers coach Kevin Cummings stand in his recruitment.
Moore, who compiled 85 catches for 1,443 yards and 19 touchdowns during his junior season, has also set official visits with Miami, Texas, and Texas A&M for late May and early June, before he's expected to return to Washington on June 19 to round out his summer slate. In what is already a strong wide receiver class for the Huskies, with commitments from four-star prospects Braylon Pope and Zerek Sidney, Washington has been very aggressive in its pursuit of Moore, who looks like he could be yet another freshman contributor at a position where Fisch has not been shy about playing his young talent early in their careers.
Along with Moore, the Huskies are also pursuing four-star wide receivers Osani Gayles and Dontay Tyson to round out the class. Both were on campus for Junior Day, and the Huskies are in the process of scheduling an official visit with Gayles, while Tyson is scheduled to take an official trip on May 29.
