Washington football has offered a scholarship to Landon Miller, a top linebacker prospect from California for the 2028 class. Miller, a four-star recruit from De La Salle High School, is ranked as the No. 7 linebacker nationally despite missing games due to injury.

Washington Huskies linebackers coach Brian Odom has done an impressive job recruiting the position since his arrival in Seattle, and as Jedd Fisch's coaching staff turns its attention to 2028, Odom has set his sights on one of the nation's top prospects.
After watching him at a showcase, Odom extended an offer to four-star prospect Landon Miller, a 6-foot-2, 210-pound product of De La Salle High School in Concord, California, who is ranked as the No. 107 player and No. 7 linebacker in the 2028 class by the 247Sports Composite.
Although Miller holds just ten offers, he is already being hotly pursued by several programs, including Arizona State, California, Ohio State, Oregon, and USC, even after he missed five games during his sophomore year with an injury.
Coach Dan Lanning and the Ducks have been at the forefront in Miller's recruitment, and have already hosted him for a trio of unofficial visits. As the Huskies look to develop a relationship with the promising linebacker who tallied 42 tackles, 9 for loss, with 4 sacks and a forced fumble, they'll have some ground to make up.
For Miller, who has the frame to continue adding weight, if he were to wind up at Washington, he could fill a role similar to how defensive coordinator Ryan Walters is expected to deploy Xe'ree Alexander in 2026. He has the size and strength to hold his ground as a run defender at outside linebacker, along with the speed, range, and vision to sort through the trash and attack downhill as both a run defender and blitzer.
Odom has already secured four pledges in the 2027 class: three-stars Ethan and Justin Coach, Isaiah Leilua, and Titus Osterman, and may be able to turn most of his attention to the underclassmen.
