Philadelphians have a reputation of being the most boisterous fanbase in American sports and it isn't limited to the gridiron or the basketball court.
Some spectators proved that during Wednesday's practice round at the 2026 PGA Championship, which is being played at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, just outside Philadelphia. A video posted to social media showed Scottie Scheffler, a noted Dallas Cowboys fan, laughing as a group of rowdy Eagles fans decided to have some fun and talk a little trash.
"Dallas sucks, Scottie!" one fan shouted as Scheffler was practicing on the 12th green. "We're gonna smash you on Thanksgiving!"
Scheffler clearly enjoyed the banter. The camera zoomed in and showed a big grin on the face of the world's best golfer as the fans yelled "Go Birds!"

As he looks to capture his fifth major title, Scheffler, the defending PGA Champion, is hoping to have better luck at Aronimink this week than his Cowboys have had against Philly in recent seasons. The Eagles have won four of their last six matchups against their bitter NFC East rivals, so you could say the trash talk is warranted.
