Texas A&M's spring football season concludes with the Maroon & White Game. Freshman WR Aaron Gregory impresses with standout performances, including a remarkable catch in tight coverage.

Texas A&M's spring football season will officially come to an end on Saturday, as the program's 15th practice will serve as the annual Maroon & White Game. While coach Mike Elko will be without 19 players, including wide receiver Terry Bussey, cornerback Dezz Ricks, and senior defensive back Bryce Anderson, who made the move to nickel this spring.
Among the 17 transfer portal additions and 26 signees from the 2026 recruiting class, freshman wide receiver Aaron Gregory has been the talk of the spring game, dazzling both the coaching staff and media members in attendance, while developing chemistry with starting quarterback Marcel Reed, which should pay off heading into the 2026 season.
For this writer, I have yet to leave out Gregory in nearly every piece regarding spring practice, and for good reason. Standing 6'3" and possessing impressive speed with the quickness and twitchy lower-body movements to instantly get out of his breaks and provide his quarterback an open target, Gregory continued to look like the next star wideout who will be hard to keep off the field next season.
Among a loaded wide receiver rotation, now including Alabama transfer Isaiah Horton, Gregory enters Saturday's final scrimmage as the No. 1 player to watch outside of sophomore edge Marco Jones, in my humble opinion, and thanks to Texas A&M's media team for capturing the moment, Gregory made an incredible catch in tight coverage from redshirt freshman cornerback Adonyss Currie.
The expectation is that Gregory will play for an extended period on Saturday, while backup quarterback Brady Hart and freshman Helaman Casuga will like target the standout freshman as much as possible.
The Maroon & White Game will kick off on Saturday, April 18, at 1 p.m. in Kyle Field and will be available to stream on SEC Network+.
