ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter provided an update on how undrafted Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia views the rookie minicamp invite he was given by the Baltimore Ravens.
In a recent appearance on the Pat McAfee show, Schefter said that this situation is not what Pavia wanted, but he's looking forward to the opportunity.
"I'm sure that he is disappointed that he didn't get drafted, of course," Schefter said. "To me that's a good opportunity in Baltimore this week, and the Ravens currently have two quarterbacks on their roster, Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley. They don't have a third, to me that's a good opportunity. It's not what he wanted, but I always feel like it's more important where you go, not where you go in the draft, and if he can go and impress them and get signed into the roster, I like that opportunity."
