The England international hasnât featured after suffering an ACL injury before the start of the season, but heâs now back in full training.
Colwill came through 60 minutes for the under-21s last week unscathed, as he continues to build his fitness ahead of a first team return.
Chelsea have very much paid the price for not signing a replacement for Colwill, and have had a number of defensive issues this season.
The Blues havenât kept a clean sheet in the league since January, and the constant chopping and changing of personnel at the back isnât helping.

âSo his rehabâs gone really well, heâs trained today, he makes a huge impression on the group. You can see his presence on the training pitch. I canât wait to have him back in with the group.â
