This week's Blue Federal Credit Union Boys Athlete of the Week award is ready for postseason baseball after a big week on the diamond.
Wellington baseball's Cade Keller took top honors in the Fort Collins area for the week of May 4-9 after a an excellent all-around week, especially at the plate.
Keller combined to go 6-for-9 at the plate with a home run, a double, seven RBIs and three runs scored across three games against Severance, Berthoud and Bennett.
That included a three-hit game vs. the Silver Knights and a five-RBI outing against Bennett in a game that featured his big homer.

The five RBIs were a career-high for the Wellington staple who has been a four-year starter dating back to the program's first season in 2023.
The senior leads the Eagles with a .409 batting average and a .500 on-base percentage, setting the table for a lineup that has proven dangerous while averaging nearly seven runs per game.
That offensive pop helped Wellington land a spot in Class 3A regionals after a 13-10 regular season with a 10-6 league record.
Wellington earned the No. 22 seed and will compete in 3A Region 6 at Prospect Ridge Academy on May 15-16.
Keller is just the third local baseball player to earn Blue FCU Boys Athlete of the Week honors this spring, joining Timnath's Dane Wyman and Fort Collins' Dylan Rubenstein.
Wellington baseball fans hit the polls hard, lifting Keller to the win with 32.2% of the total vote.
