How well will New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson play in 2026?

Stevenson saw a reduction in carries last season with TreVeyon Henderson as his backfield mate. He went from 207 carries in 2024 to 130 in 2025. He recorded the same amount of touchdowns in both seasons (7), but increased his yards per rush from 3.9 in 2024 to 4.6 last season, as well as his receiving yards from 168 to 345 in that span.

Henderson had a season of note in 2025 as a rookie, going for 911 rushing yards, which played a role in Stevenson’s reduced role last season. According to ESPN’s Mike Clay in his 2026 NFL Projection Guide, Stevenson projects to get 176 carries and go for 751 rushing yards, as well as seven rushing touchdowns next season.
