After the first four games of the series, the San Antonio Spurs and Minnesota Timberwolves are still level.
Both teams have won two games apiece and need a fifth game to determine which team will jump out in front of the series. Minnesota began on the front foot with a Game 1 victory in San Antonio, but the Spurs followed up with two wins of their own before the Timberwolves equalized the series on Sunday.
One of the biggest storylines heading into Tuesday night will be the fact that Victor Wembanyama is still able to suit up despite being ejected from Game 4 for elbowing Naz Reid in the face. The Spurs do have the luxury of hosting Game 5, so Wembanyama will be able to avoid a boisterous opposing crowd until Game 6.
Even with the Frenchman being able to play, Minnesota has problems that the team needs to fix quickly. Across the four games played this series, has turned the ball over 18 times. Despite Wembanyama being ejected in the first half of Game 4, the Timberwolves were still only able to emerge victorious by five points. It's obviously a near-impossible task to eliminate the 7-foot-4 do-it-all player, but Minnesota has to find a way to beat San Antonio, which is currently boasting the second-highest team shooting percentage in the Western Conference (47.8%).
