Moehrig is one of the best tacklers in the league, and the fact that he signed for roughly $17 million per year shows that the Raiders could have made an offer. This deal might be one that they regret not making themselves, but adding an additional pick will cushion the blow. There’s potential that he could be just as good, if not better than, their former defensive back.
