On Wednesday, the AL East club announced that left-hander Trevor Rogers was placed on the 15-day injured list with an undisclosed illness. The earliest he can return is May 11 because the IL placement is retroactive to April 26.
Reliever Cameron Foster was recalled from Triple-A Norfolk to take Rogers' spot on the roster.
