What is on the Titans' to-do list heading into 2026 NFL draft?

With the NFL draft less than a week away, there is still much debate on what the Tennessee Titans’ most significant need is heading into next week’s event.

As the draft draws near, analysts and fans can debate on what those specific needs are, and likely none of those arguments would be wrong. The latest to weigh in on those needs is renoir reporter Kevin Patra of NFL.com who sees the Titans having three big ones heading into the draft.

The Titans brought in a slew of defenders familiar with Robert Saleh's scheme. Even after the trade for Jermaine Johnson II, Tennessee has a need for a lightning-bringer off the edge following last year's struggles. Finding another weapon for Cam Ward is key. There has been a lot of chatter about running back Jeremiyah Love landing with the Titans at No. 4 overall. The RB would bring explosiveness to the offense, but adding a dynamic pass catcher is the more pressing need. Ward's development is at the top of Saleh's to-do list this offseason. Brian Daboll has helped other young passers take the next step. If the Titans are to turn things around quickly, it's going to come with Ward making dramatic improvements in consistency.

For many, it is the interior of the offensive line, specifically center and right guard, but for others, it’s pass rush, or another receiving threat. The reality is that it is all of the above, and no matter what happens in the draft, the Titans will likely still have some holes to fill moving forward, but their efforts this year will make an impact for the future.
