Woltemade has played fewer than half the minutes he picked up from his first 15 Premier League outings for Newcastle.

Bayern won’t sign the Newcastle striker

In an ideal world, Bayern would more than likely welcome an addition of Woltemade’s quality to their squad.

However, with funds apportioned specifically for a left winger (ideally a positionally versatile option like Anthony Gordon) and a right-back, there’s not much wiggle room left beyond that.

So, if Woltemade wishes to rejuvenate his playing career, he’ll need to set his sights somewhere else other than the Allianz Arena.
