PL Predictions: Brighton to send Spurs sliding towards the unthinkable
Brighton is set to face Tottenham this weekend, with predictions leaning towards a Brighton victory.
Scottie Scheffler expressed dissatisfaction with the Masters course setup, particularly regarding the firmness of the greens on Thursday and Friday. He felt the conditions were not equal, which may have affected his performance as he finished second.
What was Scottie Scheffler's Masters complaint about 'course setup'?
Scottie Scheffler didn't seem happy for much of his Masters run to second place at Augusta that saw him fall just short of Rory McIlroy in the end.
There was him snapping at a reporter on Saturday after an incredible 7-under 65 in the third round that set him up for a Sunday run. And after he finished second, he had this to say, via the New York Post.
“I’m not in charge of course setup,” he said to reporters. “I would’ve liked it to have been a little bit more equal in terms of the firmness on Thursday and Friday. I was a bit surprised at how soft things were on Friday afternoon, especially as it got late in the day. But the weather also changes, like it was a bit windy on Thursday."

He did pull that back a bit, following up with this: "it’s just that’s part of the game. We play an outdoor sport, and you don’t know how conditions are gonna change — especially course conditions."
Is he accusing Augusta National of changing up the firmness between the first and second rounds? Maybe by under or over watering or specific grass cuts?
The answer is: Yeah. Thursday afternoon was tough on the golfers and, via Golf.com, he said "Whatever they did to the greens to soften them up, they did some stuff, and I just wasn’t able to take advantage of that going on early on Friday."
Isn't that just how golf works? One day of the tournament, the greens will be faster, the wind will blow. The next day, the pins will be wildly tougher, the wind will die down and maybe it's drier.
What's more amazing is that Scheffler battled through all of that and some early struggles to finish just short of another green jacket. He's still the best golfer in the world by A LOT.

Scottie Scheffler complained that the firmness of the greens was inconsistent, particularly noting that they were softer on Friday afternoon than he expected.
Scheffler believed that the uneven course conditions may have impacted his chances of winning, as he finished in second place.
After finishing second, Scheffler mentioned he was surprised by the softness of the greens and expressed a desire for more equal conditions during the tournament.
The weather during the Masters included windy conditions on Thursday, which contributed to the varying firmness of the course throughout the tournament.
