**On battling back after falling behind:** âI would say the last two games, I think weâve hit some adversity in the games, where theyâve had a lead. I just think our mindset more is taking whatever the gameâs giving us and coming out and playing and staying with it. You know I think weâve done a good job of that. Weâre focused on playing how we need to play regardless of the circumstances.â **On Matt Boldy and his game-winning goal:** âHaving the opportunity to be around Bolds with the Wild but also at the menâs world championships, the Four Nations and the Olympics, you see him play in big moments â I think thatâs a personality trait. He can play when the heat gets turned up. He is a guy that has the âit factor.ââ **On physicality wearing down the Dallas defense: â**Well, it is a part of it. You keep doing it and do it the right way and continue to compete hard in the hard areas of the ice. I think as you see in the series, both teams are extremely competitive, and we talked with the guys about, you have be able to win the hard areas of the game. You do it, you do it, and over the course of time you get rewarded for it, and tonight we got rewarded for it.â **On :** âI thought Wally was solid again. Very solid. There were some big momentum swings in the game where they kind of dictated for a while and then we dictated for a while but when we needed him the most, he came up big.â

**On playing three overtimes in two games:** âWell, itâs always hard on the body, but I feel like the guys looked great out there, even though we played so many minutes. My body feels great. I feel like weâre in a good position, even if we have to keep playing overtime games. Weâre not worried about it.â **On keeping a calm demeanor:** âI think over the course of the season we built up that resilience we know and even though weâre down one, or leading â whatever the game looks like â weâre playing 60 minutes and then weâll go from there. If we have to play more, weâre ready to play more.â **On Wyatt Johnson hitting the post at the end of regulation:** âThe first the D shot I was kind of screen on, so I didnât really see that, I didnât see the release. I think it got tipped right in front of me, so I kind of picked it up there again, but I was a little bit out of position, I think. And after that, I knew the puck was behind me and I tried to just get my legs to the post and reach. Obviously, the guys did a great job keeping it out. We did what we had to to make sure that one didnât go in.â
**On emotions of close no goals earlier in the game:** âAh, not much, to be honest. The kick one I basically knew right away. It was just kind of a natural reaction, obviously not how I would want to play but just how it naturally happened. Emotionally wise, I knew that wasnât a goal, so it wasnât much of a swing.â **On handling the pressure of a big stage:** âYeah, it helps a bunch. Mentally for your confidence it helps a lot, I think. But in terms of not letting the moment get too big or get the best of you, I think that has gone a long way for us.â **On relationship with Jake Oettinger:** âYeah, obviously, we were with him for 4 Nations and the Olympics for a couple of weeks, so you get to know him. He's obviously a very gifted goalie. He makes a lot of saves, and he's been playing well, so we have just got to keep doing what we do, and get to the net and make a little bit harder on him.â
**On winning this overtime game:** âRelief. Itâs another great game. I mean, really, goalies were unbelievable. And, just the back and forth and just the possession and physicality. We've got to expect just tight games for the rest of the series. And Bolds was was a beast today,â **On his game-tying goal:** âIt's special when you're a big guy out there and you've got Quinn and Fabes back there, it's really cool. You just kind of get to playing in front and they seem to find guys. So it's a good shot by Sturmy, and lucky to get a to get a piece before Oettinger could freeze it.â **On where the series goes from here:** âWeâve been in 2-2 series before, and we've got to play a really good, smart, detailed game in Dallas. I think that's where we're going with that. The last two games have been great for us. I think the momentum of the game is something that we have to learn to control in Dallas.â
**On the Foligno goal:** âHe did a great job getting to the net there. I thought he did a great job all night just with energy, with hits, just getting on the forecheck and creating stuff. His line did a great job of that and creating havoc in front of the net.â **On the Wild's struggling penalty kill:** âObviously, like to get some kilks, but thereâs times I think weâre doing a good job and just a bounce there going the wrong way for us. So, we just gotta stick with it.â Find more Stars coverage from The Dallas Morning News here
