The Wisconsin Badgers have been busy dealing with the transfer portal this offseason, as they prepare for another year with a ton of roster turnover.
Heading into next year, the Badgers are losing Nick Boyd, Andrew Rohde, Braeden Carrington, and Isaac Gard to eligibility. Theyâre also going to be without John Blackwell, Aleksas Bieliauskas, Jack Robison, and Riccardo Greppi, who all entered the transfer portal this month.
That leaves seven open roster spots for Wisconsin to fill, and the Badgers have gotten to work. Wisconsin had a busy week last week, landing three transfers, and they brought in another player on Wednesday with the addition of in-state freshman guard Josh Manchester.
With the roster slowly starting to unfold, letâs look at the updated roster for the Badgers and see what else is left to do this offseason.

Wisconsin is now up to 13 players on its projected 15-man roster, with Josh Manchester being the teamâs lone walk-on at the moment. So, the Badgers have room to add one or two more players.

When it comes to rotational pieces, I donât know that Wisconsin looks to add much more there, especially with their sophomores ready for expanded roles this season.
So, where could Wisconsin look to add? The freshman class could see another addition, although that would depend on the financial situation. While Zavier Zens is off the board to Illinois, the Badgers have the room for another freshman forward/big to join the class.
After that, Iâd expect another walk-on to round out the class.
