Dallas Cowboys draft trades

The Dallas Cowboys made two trades in Thursday's first round of the 2026 NFL draft, then made another trade on Friday. They swapped their No. 20 pick with division rival Philadelphia's 23rd pick. In addition to No. 23, Dallas received the Eagles' Nos. 114, 137 (both fourth rounders) while the Eagles picked up a seventh-round pick next season. Dallas drafted UCF edge Malachi Lawrence with the 23rd pick.

Earlier, the Cowboys moved up from 12th to 11th (with the Miami Dolphins) to draft Ohio State safety Caleb Downs. They also gave up two of their three fifth-round picks (Nos. 177 and 180) in this year's draft to the Dolphins.

On Friday, they traded their remaining 5th-round pick for San Francisco 49ers linebacker Dee Winters, a third-year player out of TCU.
