The Atlanta Falcons will not have any picks on Day 1 of the 2026 NFL Draft due to a previous trade. They have two picks on Day 2 and three picks on Day 3.
The 2026 NFL Draft has arrived, but due to last year's blockbuster trade for James Pearce Jr., the Atlanta Falcons will have to sit out on Day 1. The team sent its 2026 first-round pick to the Los Angeles Rams to move up for Pearce, and despite an impressive rookie season, the trade hasn't aged well.
The Falcons have made a few moves under new general manager Ian Cunningham but nothing detrimental to their future. Atlanta swapped a pair of Day 3 picks with the Philadelphia Eagles to acquire safety Sydney Brown. The team also traded Ruke Orhorhoro to the Jacksonville Jaguars for defensive tackle Maason Smith.
So, what picks do the Falcons have left entering the 2026 NFL Draft? As you can see below, the team has zero picks on Day 1, two picks on Day 2 (Rounds 2-3), and three picks on Day 3 (Rounds 4-7).
The 2026 NFL Draft is divided into three days. Round 1 kicks off on Thursday night at 8 p.m. ET, and since the Falcons don't have a first-round pick, they won't be participating on Day 1. Day 2 of the draft picks back up at 7 p.m. ET and includes the second and third rounds.
The Falcons have zero picks on Day 1, two picks on Day 2, and three picks on Day 3.

The Falcons will have the 48th overall pick in Round 2 and the 79th overall pick in Round 3. Atlanta has three more picks on Day 3 of the draft (Rounds 4-7), starting in the fourth round (pick No. 122 overall). The team has no fifth-round pick, but will return in the sixth round (pick No. 215) and close things out in the seventh round (pick No. 231).
