When will Clemson face Syracuse, Duke? Game days officially announced

Clemson’s 2026 football schedule saw two ACC-related changes announced Friday, with one game officially locked into a Saturday slot and another shifted to Friday night.

The Tigers’ road matchup against Syracuse Orange, which had previously been designated as a flex option for either Nov. 6 or Nov. 7, will now be played on Saturday, Nov. 7. Clemson’s road trip to Duke Blue Devils has also been adjusted, moving from Saturday, Nov. 21 to Friday, Nov. 20 as part of the ACC’s finalized Friday night slate.

Kickoff times and television assignments for both contests will be announced later.

Clemson already had one Friday game on the schedule before Friday’s announcement, a Sept. 25 trip to California Golden Bears. That matchup will mark Clemson’s first-ever trip to Berkeley.

The schedule updates add another layer to an important stretch for the Tigers after disappointing home losses to both Syracuse and Duke during the 2025 season. Clemson fell 34-21 to the Orange last September before dropping a 46-45 shootout to eventual ACC champion Duke in early November.

The ACC’s updated Friday lineup also includes several conference matchups throughout the season, highlighted by Miami Hurricanes at Stanford Cardinal in Week 1 and Florida Gators at Florida State Seminoles on Black Friday to close the regular season.
